Synopsis from the hand bill:
This evergreen comedy of deceptions, popular since its first peformance in 1773, is subtitled "the mistakes of a night", and takes place at an old country house between midday and the small hours of the following morning. It concerns Kate Hardcastle, attactive and artful, and Charles Marlow, brash with wenches but bashful with ladies. Kate draws him out by pretending to be a barmaid, thus she Stoops to conquer

My part in this play

Cast as Tony Lumpkin, step brother of Kate Hardcastle, i was chiefly involved in the sub plot which interweaves with the main plot and the other sub plot. Tony is someone who likes a laugh, and gets up to a few tricks in the course of the play, oh, and sings a little too! Anyway, it all went down well, and you can see how things went by viewing the images on this page and by reading the reviews linked below.
